Care tips
Watering
The method of watering is important for the life of the plant. It is important that the plant's roots do not remain in water. Always drain the growing pot after watering before putting it back in the ornamental pot. Water about once a week. This can be done by a bath, with the watering can or under the tap. Make sure you use lukewarm water.
There are also differences between species. On average, the Zygopetalum needs just a little more water than the other species in our collection.
For orchid arrangements, it is important not to give too much water at once because you cannot let this pot drain. Here, the advice is to give small amounts of water a little more often.
Orchids naturally grow in a humid environment. A little moisture in between on the leaves and flowers with the plant sprayer is not necessary, but always a good idea if you have the time and opportunity to do so.
